Inspiration

Early on in my research, I came across this small JAVA application called Soothing Shapes by Adam Pinckard. By re-sizing the application window, a new display of seemingly random, static, semi-transparent rectangles appeared, which created an interesting graphical look that was ideal for the moodcapture part of moodproject:
